Feisty Feist

Feist probably doesn't need an introduction as she became a superstar off of the incredibly whimsical song, 1234. However, for those who have been living under a rock, Feist is a Canadian singer-songwriter who has a gorgeous, haunting voice that will leave you with goose-bumps. Seriously. We were both fortunate enough to see her perform back in 2007, and once again in 2009 with her surprise appearance at a Grizzly Bear concert. Both performances were amazing, and the picture above is one we took with our very own camera. Here is one of her other toe-tapping songs with a wonderfully choreographed, artful video, and also a song in collaboration with Grizzly Bear off the album Dark Was the Night. Enjoy...

I wish I had a mango tree in my backyard

There's something special about sibling duos, especially extremely attractive ones who make beautiful music, like Angus & Julia Stone. Mango Tree is off their debut album A Book Like This, released in 2007. Please enjoy this gentle, calming, lovable little song...

Fresh Fruit

On Tuesday August 4th the Fruit Bats released "The Ruminant Band," their latest album.  I've always thought of the Fruit Bats as sort of like the Shins' younger siblings, however their new album, which feels like a total seventies throw-back, sets them apart, think Dr. Dog.

This will blow your mind. Just watch - the elephant has some serious skills.
